John E. Solan is a Partner at the CTM Legal Group. John received his undergraduate degree from Winona State University in 2009 while being a member of the University's football team.  John earned his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in May of 2013. John was a member of the Business Transactional Externship Program while at John Marshall Law School. 

After graduation, John continued to work as an associate for a small law firm focusing commercial litigation as well as corporate transactional matters.  In October of 2014, John joined CTM Legal Group continuing to expand his practice in commercial litigation and transactional matters.  John has represented clients in various litigation matters, including construction, consumer matters, breach of contract, and business related issues.  In addition, John also assists clients with transactional issues including purchasing and selling real estate, business start-ups, residential lease drafting, and business related agreements. 

John is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. He was admitted to the Federal Bar in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 2013.
