Francis Van Remoortel obtained his law degrees from the Facultés Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix (Namur) and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Leuven), cum laude, as well as a master’s degree in European Law from the Institut d’Etudes européennes (Université libre de Bruxelles), magna cum laude.

During his fourth year of law school, he studied a semester at Northwestern University (Chicago).

Francis was admitted at the Kortrijk bar in 2003.
He mainly deals with business law (including intellectual property, unfair trade practices and distribution) and private banking law.
