South East based law firm, Warners Solicitors, announces that Philip Raggett has returned to the firm as a partner in its private client team. Philip specialises in tax planning, Wills and trust work. Philip originally joined the firm in 1997, having previously worked in London with large national and international accountancy firms. Philip is a member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and will be working with Warners’ high net worth clients advising them on all aspects of capital taxes and estate planning.

Warners is also pleased to announce that two associate solicitors have been promoted to partners. Gail Hall, who works alongside Philip in the private client team, and Russell Brinkhurst, who specialises in corporate and commercial work.

Gail is also a member of STEP and she advises clients on all matters relating to drawing up Wills, life time tax planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), and trust and estate administration. She understands the complex issues surrounding succession planning and is a member of Warners’ agricultural team.

Russell has a significant amount of experience in dealing with all aspects of corporate law including: mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, business formations and drafting commercial contracts. Russell’s considerable client following is indicative of the consistent high standard of his advice.

Senior partner Mark Rosser comments, “We are delighted to promote Gail and Russell to the role of partner and to welcome Philip back to the firm. They all have a wealth of experience which will ensure we can continue to offer an exceptional standard of service and advice to our clients.”
