ABL member for Washington D.C., the Ruddy Law Office, PLLC, will be changing its name to Ruddy Gregory PLLC, to reflect adding Jim Gregory as a named partner in the firm. Additionally, the firm has added Jessen Gregory as an attorney. Finally, the firm is launching an office in Denver, Colorado.
Jim has been working with the firm in an Of Counsel capacity for almost a year. A decision was made that a change in the name and addition of Jim as a partner was best to reflect Jim’s increased contributions and involvement with the firm. In addition to decades in private practice, Jim has served as general counsel of both an international private equity firm and oil refining business. His experience enhances the firm’s practice in a variety of areas including private equity, venture capital, international tax, and family office work. Mark Ruddy’s relationship with Jim dates back almost twenty years, when Mark and Jim worked together at a private equity firm where Jim was serving as general counsel.
The firm has also added Jessen Gregory as attorney. Jessen has been a practicing attorney since 2005. She is licensed in California and Colorado. Jessen’s practice focuses on asset based senior secured financings, acquisitions, entity formations, real property transactions, private equity and venture capital investing and general corporate transactions.
Jim and Jessen will comprise the firm’s new office in Denver, Colorado.
The firm’s transition to its new name will take place over the next few months.
The contact details for the attorneys and staff in the Washington, DC office will not change.
