Jani Trías, member of the Barcelona ABL member firm Arraut & Asociados, was elected last July – out of 23,000 plus members - as a member of the Board of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB). The Board of the Barcelona Bar Association is the governing body of the ICAB, a corporation of public law.

Additionally, Jani has recently received an ICAB Presidential Appointment to the International Department, the Company Lawyers Committee and the Committee on Professional Prospects.

As part of his new role, Jani will give a lecture at the International Bar Leaders Senate in representation of the President of the ICAB at the 57th Congress of the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA) that will take place in Macao, China, from October 31st until November 4th.
