ABL delegates from across the world gathered again for the 35th General Assembly Meeting in Dubai, May 17-20, 2017.

Mr. Nasif Kayed, CEO of the Arab Culturalist, discussed Arab & Emirati culture, business etiquette and ethics and do’s and don’ts when doing business in the GCC. 
Other most interesting debates were attended by speakers from various sectors. We had Toine Goorts, Owner Goorts Onderzoek & Consultancy and member of Council of International Investigators (www.cii2.org) present on Cybersecurity Risks for Law Firms.

Matthias Gieseking, Partner at Jacobsen+Confurius Rechtsanwälte, moderated the debate on Doing Business in the Middle East. We hereby thank our panelists Urs Stirnimann (Swiss ILC Services), Sushil Malhotra (SKM International), Hassan Elhais (Al Rowaad Advocates) and Costas Ioannou (OneWorld MidEast ltd.) for their valuable contributions.
